It's important to be able to tell the difference between a simple rash and a serious rash caused by skin bleeding. You can perform a simple test to check. Lightly press a glass or a finger on the rash. If the color of the rash pales or blanches, it is probably a simple rash. If the rash stays red under gentle pressure as seen here, this is a sign of skin bleeding. This can be a symptom of a serious disease. Call your doctor immediately if you think your child has skin bleeding.
