Wait until your child is ready.

"A lot of parents think their child should be trained by such and such an age," says Peter Stavinoha, PhD, author of Stress-Free Potty Training. "But potty training is a process." Start slow, and to pique interest, let your child watch you use the bathroom, let her pick out underwear decorated with her favorite character, and cheer her on if she does use the potty.

also if there are any moms who are finding it hard to pay child care just to make ends meet even working full time then I highly suggest going to www.athome4kids.awugreen.com to request information. I set up wholesale shopping accounts for people via internet and phone. NO selling or inventory involved, period!

I am trying to potty train my 3 yr old and it is being a long process. He only goes when I tell him to go and sometimes he is so cranky i have to fight him to get on his potty. I know he is ready because he keeps saying "change me mommy". He will go do a pee in the morning and for other people but not for me. I guess I just want this to go faster, but it is not..

I am helping my daughter potty train my granddaughter who is two yrs old. My grandbaby was using her potty for a while, and now she wants nothing to do with it. So I laid off the pottying training for awhile but her mother continued. So now we are both trying to get on the same of page of potty training again.
