Brilliant Parents Create a Gourmet Coffee Truck for School Car Line

Every parent's dream came true at one North Carolina school—a grande cappuccino in carpool?

What exhausted parent hasn't rolled into the school dropoff line in the morning, in desperate need of caffeine and thought, "Too bad there isn't a coffee cart around here..."? Well, an enterprising couple from North Carolina did more than just contemplate how life-changing a java joint like this would be; they created one, much to the delight of their fellow road-weary moms and dads!

For the second school year in a row, Heather and Gabriel Rael are serving parents and teachers at the Expedition School piping hot cups of joe from their Caffé Olé food truck. The truck can be found parked in the back of the school's parking lot, not in the actual line. So parents need to park and get their caffeine fix, thus not disrupting the dropoff procedure. Got that school administrators? It's all good.

Heather explained the inspiration for their brilliant idea to Today.com, saying, "My husband was waiting in line recently to pick up our daughter and saw all the cars just sitting there. He thought it would be nice to be able to get out of his car and get something to drink. He also remembered when I was a teacher and I always wanted a place where I could get a good cup of coffee."

One mother, Leigh Fickling, who loves to partake in a big cup of the cart's cafe mocha, told Today.com about the joys of taking advantage of this amazing concept. "As I threw my passengers out and wished them a happy day, I took a big gulp of my coffee and smiled because I knew that I would have a happy day, too."

Um, can the Raels please come to my kids' school? Now?

Meanwhile, the Raels say their business idea has done more than just put smiles on the faces of their peers. They have also been able to enjoy making their own hours, and spending more time with family.

Sounds like everyone is winning. Did I mention I'm moving to North Carolina?
