ThinkGeek Holy Crap You Guys It's a Rock From The Moon!
O RLY? Sometimes, when a meteor and a celestial body love each other very much, they crash into each other, causing rocks to launch into space and eventually make their way to our beloved Earth. Until now, if you wanted a Moon baby, you had... to be the first (FIRST!) person to the crash site and scoop up the booty and run. While that is certainly a possibility if you live in driving distance of the crash site, it's not as feasible when the trajectory lands the space chunks on another continent. Now, you can order a piece of the Moon right here on ThinkGeek. The Lunar meteorite, NWA 3163, landed in northwest Africa. Once the pieces were examined by scientists and certified to be authentic pieces of our dear Moon, they were packaged in protective shells, complete with a card describing their history.
