Step2 was founded in 1991 by Thomas G. Murdough, Jr. Today, Step2 offers toys, playhouses, sandboxes, beds, kitchens, and more. Step2 carries two major collections: the LifeStyle Collection and the Naturally Playful Collection. The LifeStyle Collection features realistic miniature kitchens and furniture, giving kids the opportunity to learn and develop cooking skills. The Naturally Playful collection includes outdoor toys such as teeter-totters, sandboxes, climbers, swing sets, slides, swings, and playgrounds. Toys are age-appropriate for newborns to 7-year-olds. The Grown-Ups collection includes rain barrels, trash cans, mailboxes, and storage sheds made of a resin material used to make children?s toys. Step2 toys come in categories such as creative play, indoor play, play kitchens, kids? furniture, ride-ons and wagons, outdoor play, and sand and water. Creative Play toys include easels, desks, and project tables. The Easel for Two is a two-sided easel with a dry-erase board on one side and a chalkboard on the other. This easel features a storage tray, 77 magnetic foam letters, and a paper clip on each side. Other best-selling toys include the Clubhouse Climber, the WaterWheel Play Table, and the LifeStyle Deluxe Kitchen.
