Joseph William Foster began producing spiked running shoes in 1890. Five years later, he founded a shoe company, J.W. Foster and Sons. In 1958, two of Foster's grandsons renamed the company Reebok. Today, Reebok (now owned by Adidas) produces athletic shoes, apparel, and other sp
orts accessories. Reebok was introduced in the U.S. in 1979 and since then has become a major brand in sports products.
Reebok offers a wide variety of casual clothing and sporting goods. Its lightweight shoes are particularly popular: The soft ZigLite shoe has a responsive sole in an eye-catching zigzag shape; the SubLite shoe is designed to provide ultimate flexibility and comfort without sacrificing support.
