The shift dress in particular took off after Life magazine published a photo of Jackie Kennedy, a former classmate of Lilly's, wearing a version of the dress. Lilly Pulitzer became known as the "Queen on Prep," and her products to this day have a signature crisp, preppy style. Today, Lilly Pulitzer sells a complete line of clothing for men, women, and children, as well as maternity clothes, accessories, bedding, stationery, and other products.
