Boy & Girl Potties

Although boys and girls learn different potty techniques, both sexes can use the same potty chairs and seats during the process. (For boys, though, be sure the chair has a deeper body and a good splash guard). Many parents introduce their children to potty chairs at 18 to 24 months old, even if potty training is still a time away. When children are a bit older, around 2 to 4 years old, they can use a potty seat on top of a regular toilet seat, with a step stool helping them climb up there.
