Created by pharmacist John Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia in 1886, Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink loved by many all around the world. Commonly referred to as Coke, the soda got its start when Pemberton mixed up a tasty caramel-colored syrup and brought it down the street to
Jacobs’ Pharmacy, where it was combined with carbonated water. The beverage, which was named by Pemberton's bookkeeper, was a hit; and Coca-Cola, with its classic script typeface and red-and-white color scheme, is now one of the most widely recognized companies in the world. In addition to Coke, Coca-Cola makes Diet Coke, caffeine-free sodas, and flavored versions such as Coca-Cola Cherry and Coca-Cola Vanilla.
In addition to beverages, Coca-Cola carries officially licensed gear and home decor. The Coca-Cola Pub Stool, a practical pick for a basement bar or game room, has a chrome double-rung base, a padded back, and a padded seat with the famous logo. The Coca-Cola Vintage Pub Table, meant to complement the look, has a wood and acrylic full-color printed top and a chrome base. The Coca-Cola Pool Cue Stick with Case rounds out the set; the stick is made of hardwood and has brass joints; the black case is felt-lined to keep the sticks safe at all times.
