Week 1 Grocery List


1 head garlic
1 lemon
1 medium pear (or apple)
1 pint cherry tomatoes
1 head of lettuce
1 bunch fresh Italian parsley
1 bunch arugula
1 bunch fresh oregano
1 sprig fresh sage
1 lb. tiny new potatoes
2 yellow onions
2 large tomatoes
2 tubs (5-oz.) fresh baby spinach

Meat, Poultry & Seafood

one 3 ? lb. whole chicken
1 lb. cod fillets
1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey breast


1 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
1 bag of shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1 chuck (8-oz.) of reduced-fat cheddar cheese
Small wedge Parmesan cheese


1 can low-sodium chicken broth
1 can no-salt-added tomato paste
1 jar of salsa (optional)
1 jar of smoked paprika
1 jar of pitted kalamata olives
1 jar of honey
1 lb. bag dried navy beans (or other small white beans)
1 box (8-oz.) bread crumbs
1 box (16-oz.) small pasta
1 package corn tortillas

Already Have at Home

Kosher salt
Black pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Sherry vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
