When traveling the world as a model, Catherine McCord became "obsessed with learning about local cuisine" and eventually went to culinary school. After having 2 children, Kenya and Chloe; McCord made a commitment to feed them only natural food and decided to help other parents do the same thing. "I went to culinary school, worked in restaurants and cooked for family and friends, but when I had my son, I didn't know where to start," says McCord. "I wanted to understand the psychology of what gets kids excited about eating and how to make them healthy eaters from day one!"
In the last few years McCord has developed plenty of nutritious and delicious recipes for Parents in addition to working on her blog Weelicious. McCord's mission is everything that Parents stands for -- healthy and simple food that brings families together.
