Salami-Spiked Hummus with Pita


  • 1 small red onion
  • Cooking spray
  • 2/3 cup chopped dry salami
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup plain hummus
  • Pita or baguette for serving

Make It

1. Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat the pan with cooking spray. Add the onion, along with salami, and saute until both have softened, about 4 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in smoked paprika. In a medium bowl, stir together two thirds of the salami mixture with plain hummus. Transfer the mixture to a container, then spoon the remaining salami mixture over the top. Serve with slices of pita or a baguette.
