Small magnets at the ends of the darts can detach and can be swallowed by young children. If more than one magnet is swallowed, the magnets can attract each other and cause dangerous intestinal perforations or blockages.
This recall includes about 870,000 magnetic dartboards with a black, green, blue, and white checkered design, and a red bull's-eye. The magnetic dartboards measure about 5 1/2 inches wide and were sold with two 2-3/4-inch-long magnetic darts. The darts magnetically attract to the dart board.
Family Dollar stores nationwide from September 2002 through March 2008 for about $1.
