The Danger:
Paint on the puppet theater's wooden panels contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Description:
The recall includes about 5,400 puppet theaters, which have red panels on the front and sides and a chalkboard signboard on top. The puppet theater measures about 24 inches in length, 6 inches in width, and about 28 inches in height.
Sold At:
Specialty toy stores, gift shops, catalogs, and Web sites nationwide from June 2006 through August 2007 for about $35.
What To Do:
Immediately take the recalled puppet theaters away from children and contact Guidecraft to receive a replacement theater or another product of equal value.
