The Danger:
Surface paint on the recalled toy drums contains excessive levels of lead.
Description:
This recall includes about 2,800 steel toy drums with sides painted red. The drum pan is painted black with silver markings to show the location of notes. Each rim is stamped with a #5 or #6, but not all drums stamped with a #5 are affected by this recall. The drum comes with two wooden drum sticks and a wooden stand.
Sold At:
Mail order catalogs, Web sites, and retail stores nationwide from December 2006 through December 2007 for between $50 and $100.
What To Do:
Immediately take the recalled steel drum away from children and return it to Woodstock Percussion for a replacement drum and a $5 credit or payment.
