- The Danger:
- Strangulation can occur when a child places his or her neck between the exposed inner cord and the fabric on the backside of the blind or when a child pulls the cord out and wraps it around his or her neck.
- This recall involves about 2,000 units of all Roman shades sold by The Land of Nod. The 100-percent cotton shades with black-out lining were sold in solid blue chambray or in beige with pink, blue, or green stripes and measure 36" or 48" wide by 63" long. A label sewn on the lower right back of the shade states "The Land of Nod" and "Made in China."
- Sold At:
- The Land of Nod stores in Illinois and Washington state and The Land of Nod catalog and Website from February 2007 through August 2009 for between $109 and $129.
- What To Do:
- Immediately stop using these Roman shades. The Land of Nod will be sending free repair kits to all known consumers.
