The Danger:
The bunk beds have gaps between parts of the upper bunk that pose an entrapment or strangulation hazard to children.
Description:
This recall involves about 1,300 bunk beds that come in twin-over-twin, twin-over-full, and loft beds with the following model names:
  • "Albany Park"
  • "Swedish Accents"
  • "Mariner's Landing"
  • "Chelsea's Place"
The bunk beds come in cherry (shown here), white, and black finishes. Some of the bunk beds are also made of metal.
Sold At:
Hooker Furniture retailers nationwide from August 2005 through August 2007 for about $1,000.
