The shoe lace toggles can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
This recall involves about 2,300 Meijer Falls Creek infant boy casual shoes with bungee laces and toggles. The brown leather shoes were sold in infant sizes 5 to 10 and have "Falls Creek" imprinted on the bottom of the shoe.
Meijer stores nationwide from July 2010 through September 2010 for about $15.
What To Do:
Immediately take the recalled shoes from children and remove and discard the toggles to eliminate the hazard or return the product to any Meijer store for a full refund. For more information, contact Meijer at (800) 927-8699 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit www.meijer.com.
