- The Danger:
- The jackets have a drawstring through the hood which poses a strangulation hazard.
- This recall involves about 9,700 children's hooded sweatshirts that have RN number 85773 printed in the center back neck and were sold in sizes S through XL. The product name and style number are printed on the hangtag on the left side seam of the garment, which comes in a variety of colors.
- Sold At:
- Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Boscov's, Chick's Sporting Goods, Gottschalks, Jack's Surf and Sport, Lester's, and Zappos nationwide from December 2007 through January 2009 for about $30.
- What To Do:
- Immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard or return the garment to the store or to La Jolla Sport to receive a full refund.
