The Danger:
The yellow paint on the banks contains large amounts of lead.
Description:
This recall involves about 222,000 lion and pig banks. Note that only the yellow banks with plastic stoppers on the bottom are being recalled. The banks with white or translucent stoppers are not being recalled. The piggy bank is shaped like a pig and is yellow with floral designs. The lion bank is shaped like a lion and is painted yellow with a brown mane.

Sold online at orientaltrading.com and funexpress.com and through Oriental Trading Company and Fun Express catalogs from February 2003 through September 2010, for between about $7 and $20 a dozen.
