An optional pillow on the seat could partially obscure the child airbag warning label, which is located on the seat pad.
This recall involves 43,994 Graco ComfortSport Frazier convertible car seats manufactured from November 1, 2006, through October 8, 2007. The car seats have model numbers 8C04FRR and 8C04FRR2. The model number and date of manufacture can be found on a label on the lower back of the car seat.
Models produced after October 8, 2007, are equipped with body pillows that have a duplicate warning label permanently affixed to the body pillow itself and therefore, are not affected by this notice.
Mass merchandisers, specialty retailers, and department stores for $100.
What To Do:
Immediately discard the supplemental body pillow. (Once the body pillow has been removed, the airbag warning label that is permanently affixed to the inside cushion of the seat should be fully visible.) For additional information, contact Graco at (800) 345-4109 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET, or visit www.gracobaby.com.
