The recall includes 723,214 Evenflo Triumph Convertible car seats with the following model numbers. They were manufactured between September 6, 2001, and October 31, 2005. The serial number and date of manufacture can be found on a white label on the underside of the car seat.

Triumph car seats manufactured on or after November 1, 2005, or with model numbers other than these are not included in the recall.

Evenflo is offering a free upgrade kit for recalled car seats, which provides a protective sleeve to cover the foam liner. Contact Evenflo toll-free at (800) 490-7591 Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET or visit www.evenflo.com.
You can continue to use the Triumph as a car seat until the protective sleeve has been installed, but you should monitor your children to ensure that they do not remove the existing cloth cover.
