The harness adjuster can detach from the seat shell. Should the harness adjuster detach from the seat, the child may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury or death. No injuries have been reported.

Britax will notify owners and provide repair kits free of charge. The safety recall and mailing of the kits is expected to begin on or about February 6, 2012.
