The Danger:
Paint on the spiral metal bindings of the journals, the clip of the bookmarks, and the clear coating on the marquis bookmarks and bracelets contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint ban.
Description:
This recall includes about 150,000 various designs of bookmarks and journals from Antioch Publishing's Signature Collection. The character-themed bookmarks and journals include the following designs:
About 200,000 more bookmarks were recalled October 17, 2007
Sold At:
Book, card, and gift stores nationwide from March 2005 through October 2007 for between $4 and $14.
What To Do:
