What My Baby Looks Like in Week 14

Discover baby's fetal developments in week 14 -- he may be grimacing, squinting, or making other simple facial movements right now.

Simple facial gestures may now be visible on ultrasound, including grimacing and squinting. The fetus is now approximately 3½ inches long, or about the size of a small lemon. Hair is starting to sprout on the fetus's head, which is about the size of a gumball. The head is now in better proportion to body size. The fetal heart beat may now be audible with the help of a Doppler device.
