Is One Drink Okay?

It may feel like no fun to abstain from alcohol during pregnancy, but it is crucial to the health of your growing baby.

Nobody knows for sure how much alcohol is needed to harm a fetus. Because people are genetically programmed to metabolize alcohol differently, what would be OK for one woman would be too much for another. It's best not to have any alcohol at all.
