Is Sushi Okay?

Wondering if you can still get that spicy tuna roll for lunch during pregnancy? Here's the answer.

Say good-bye to sushi and sashimi and any other dishes that include raw fish. That's because raw fish can transmit parasites, bacteria, and viruses, including the viruses that cause hepatitis. Some restaurants serve sushi that's made with cooked ingredients, and that's fine to eat. If the only fish on the menu is raw fish, order rice and vegetables instead.
