Before you got pregnant, you rocked gorgeous lingerie (that might have had something to do with how you got into this state in the first place). But now that you're in the land of maternity wear, the pretty underthings selection is almost zilch.
Agent Provocateur, the lingerie house that wrote the book on seduction, has introduced a maternity collection. With a nod to your needs now and later, the lined-with-lace bra features a soft cup with front snaps for post-pregnancy nursing. Under-the-belly, come-hither bikini briefs look just as great in the seventh month as they do in the second. The set's available in three colors: black, fuchsia, or a va-va-voom leopard print. If you're feeling hot, hot, hot, you'll love how this set shows off your curvier-by-the-second body. If pregnancy's zapped your libido, maybe dressing the part will help get you in the mood.
What about after your babe's born? The Post Control Brief is designed to comfortably flatten the "I just gave birth" bulge in pinup girl-inspired style. It even comes with detachable thigh straps that make this it about a zillion times sexier than Spanx. Hey, don't blame us if this leads to even more babymaking.

I haven't bought from them yet, but this site looks a whole lot more realistic, if the cover model is any indication: http://www.hotmilklingerie.com/?gclid=CLnNmuKhv60CFQ1ahwod-WTzBA
1/7/2012 07:27:48 PM Report AbuseI wish I believed this stuff was made with pregnant women in mind however the price alone proves its not. Also...seriously 36B is the largest size?? I was that BEFORE I got pregnant. Sorry but for things like this I would be very hesitant to buy online anyway. Gotta try stuff like this on!
6/14/2011 12:26:50 PM Report AbuseI thought it was actually funny that they chose to model the Post Control Brief on a 95-lb, flat-stomach girl who looks like she never had any children. Or a nursing bra on an A-cup model. This company probably selected a few of their regular lingerie pieces and labeled them "maternity". I would guess their lingerie is NOT designed for pregnant/nursing body. While I WOULD spend $100 on a good looking, practical, lasting, & comfortable bra, I definitely would not spend $1 on something useless.
2/22/2011 05:35:09 PM Report AbuseI agree with all of this. And, even if I wanted to spend that much money, it doesn't come in my size. So this is very limited.
2/8/2011 04:31:21 PM Report Abuse$110 for a bra?! Yeah, right.
7/6/2010 12:19:49 PM Report AbuseAgreed. That is ridiculous. It's easy to find the expensive sexy items and write about them. What would have been useful is finding a more affordable option, that most sane mothers would enjoy.
6/8/2010 12:21:22 PM Report AbuseI am all for looking stunnning while pregnant (I am due in June with my 4th boy,) but spending $200 on a bra and panty set is a little crazy, especially since the amount of time actually wearing maternity clothes is very limited. I rather spend that kind of money on my child's future educational plans. Please try to show some style and fashion that is priced right for this current economy.
