What Were These TV Babies' Names?
Don't be surprised when these mini stars have their own big-time shows one day!
Names seem to be a perennial hot plot topic for television shows. Remember when the whole country tuned in to Seinfeld to learn Kramer's first name? (Cosmo, by the way, is a Greek moniker that means "order" and "harmony.")
In the April 2005 issue of American Baby magazine, we asked readers if they could guess the names of these sitcom stars' TV babies' names: Friends' Monica (Courteney Cox Arquette), That '70s Show's Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), 7th Heaven's Lucy (Beverley Mitchell), Malcolm in the Middle's Lois (Jane Kaczmarek).
And the match-up is:
Monica and Chandler (Matthew Perry) named their adopted twin babies Erica and Jack. The couple was told that a woman from Ohio wanted them to adopt her babies in the final Friends episode after 10 seasons.
8 Things You Should Know About Adoption
Kelso has a baby girl with his girlfriend, Brooke, and they name their daughter Betsy. It's no surprise to the rest of the That '70s Show basement gang that Kelso feels a bit unequipped as a father, and season seven further explores some of his insecurities -- like diapering, feeding, and handling Betsy's incessant cries.

Lucy and husband Kevin name their daughter Savannah. (The baby was nearly born in an elevator with Lucy's brother Matt present.) The rest of 7th Heaven's season nine is no less dramatic, with Lucy trying to prove to the rest of the Camden household how fit she is to be a mother.
How to Deal with Unwanted Parenting Advice
Lois named her baby Jamie, although Malcolm in the Middle viewers don't learn that Jamie is a boy until two episodes later. That makes five children -- all sons -- for the very dysfunctional (but super-realistic) Wilkerson family.
