Your Aching Pelvis

Around week 11, you may start to feel some general aches and discomfort in the area between your navel and your groin. These aches are usually nothing to worry about. As your uterus grows, your pelvic bones must shift to make room for it. Occasionally that expansion causes some discomfort. If it bothers you, two acetaminophen tablets should take care of it. Putting your feet up at the end of the day can also help. However, if pelvic discomfort is accompanied by bleeding, or if it becomes very painful, call your obstetrician.
