Meet the Psychologist

Marion A. Bilich, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in practice in Hewlett, New York, since 1978. She received an MS from Columbia University School of Social Work and a PhD in clinical psychology from the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, California. She is currently in private practice on Long Island.

Aside from her clinical practice, Dr. Bilich is the author of several articles and papers in professional journals. She has appeared on national television as well as local cable and radio stations throughout the United States and speaks regularly at professional conferences. In the mid 1980s Dr. Bilich published Weight Loss from the Inside Out: Help for the Compulsive Eater, recently reissued by the Wellness Institute (selfhelpbooksnow.com). She is also a coauthor of Shared Grace: Therapists and Clergy Working Together (Haworth Press, 2000).

In her work with new mothers, Dr. Bilich is committed to teaching them how to listen to and trust their own inner wisdom.
