___ Check for choking hazards.

___ Make sure no toy or object can fit inside a film canister.

___ Remove items with breakable or jagged pieces.

___ Check that all cleaning supplies and chemicals are safely stored.

___ Get down on the floor, or on your child's level, to see unsafe items your child might find appealing.

___ Move any toxic plants to another room or out of reach.
