Many hotels and resorts in the U.S. and some of those in the Caribbean don't have lifeguards stationed at their pool areas. While it's the parents' responsibility to monitor their children in the water, having a lifeguard is an essential backup. Please send your name and e-mail address to lifeguardsafety@parentsmag.com to show your support for lifeguards. We'll add your name to our petition and send it on to the major hotel and resort chains.
