I have to say I was highly disappointed with the article "Freaked out by Germs?" It does not matter how many times you wash your hands, how many bottles of hand sanitizer you use, or even how careful you are, you and your children are going to get sick. Take the basic precautions and you should be fine. I myself have never followed the rules in your article and I can count one finger the number of times I have been seriously sick.
7/12/2011 10:52:04 PM Report AbuseI had a problem with the Headache article too. My daughter was suffering w/ headaches at 2 1/2. I tried all the things in the article to help her. I finally went to a pedi neuro who did simple tests & gave me a diet to follow. Within 2 days my daughter was better. I want to also mention my daughter was put on a hi-fat diet which included most of the foods the neuro told us to avoid. From personal experience my daughter was better before they put her on the hi-fat diet.
8/21/2010 01:50:49 PM Report AbuseI'm trying to read 2 article from the August 2010 magazine but I can't open anything. What's my problem? I can't find a phone number to call and ask. I read the magazine at my dentist office this morning and went to the bookstore, but the Sept. issue is already on stands and I can't find the August issue. Thanks for someone's help.
8/20/2010 03:32:47 PM Report AbuseI really enjoy reading your magazine every month, however, I am a mother with two boys that tries to live within my budget. I do not appreciate August 2010 Solutions "Lunch on the Lawn" article. The five different "essential" ways of having lunch on the lawn would cost the reader 100+ dollars sans food. Seriously, a water bottle for $18? We are in a recession right now. Your magazine should do a better job of helping your readers to enjoy life while watching how they spend money.
8/13/2010 08:58:39 AM Report AbuseI was wondering where I can find the recipes from this issue. I just moved and cant find my copy!!! They sounded really good since I dont like veggies and really want to try them!
8/4/2010 07:19:33 PM Report AbuseI thoroughly enjoy your magazine, but I must say I was disappointed in your "Stop Your Child's Headaches" article. The article didn't even touch upon that vision can be a trigger of headaches. I'm an optometrist and one of the first questions I ask my patients of all ages is do you suffer from headaches. If the headaches are located at their temples or frontal region, it's most likely due to vision or eye strain!
