Best-Bet Breeds

Your pet should be a family companion, not a family catastrophe. So look for a pet that's good-natured and unintimidating. The following animals are considered by a variety of experts to be low in aggressive tendencies. (Keep in mind, however, that any individual animal may show aggressive traits.)
