it is to show at the latest normal age range for a child to accomplish a milestone. isnt meant to say that every kid is the same. that is just a date in which your child could meet it by. it is a very good quiz tho. every kid is different. so it doesnt matter. the later dates are very nice. i like that part a lot.

I am shocked at the utter pessimism in all of you.It is truly disheartening to hear such bitter negativity about something so trivial.It is meant simply to show the parents approximate age when their child may or may not hit certain milestones in life.What happened to optimism, joy and happiness in raising a child.Lighten up people, life is too short to be angry. Like my mother used to say,"if you don't have anything nice to say...then don't say anything at all".

PEOPLE!! It's just a fun little thing so that you can see how old you and your child be when your kid might be hitting milestones. Yes, you can figure that out on your own, but it's just a way to see it all together. Take it easy, it's not rocket science. Personally, it made me tear up because it just reminded me how quickly childhood is over.

If know one realizes it just states when the average baby hits their milestones no matter what you put in for age. The birtdates are just for saying how old you will be when your child hits that milestone, and its the same for every child.

This is lame. What do the parents' birth dates have to do with the kid's milestones? Way to have a horoscope app, Parents.com. Not that it's a surprise, but this is way off. He started sitting by himself two months before this claimed.

I find it irritating that it asks for the fathers birthday without a skip option. Some of us aren't blessed with that. Besides, my baby is doing things every site says she shouldn't be doing right now, so forget this quiz.

This quiz is so far off its a shame. I was told that my daughter would not sit up until Aug 2011....My daughter has been sitting up with support since May and is now sitting with no support. The last time I checked the date we were in June or am I missing something?? The is the worst quiz ever!! Not accurate at all!!

People its just a little quiz to show you how fast they grow and how old you'll be. Its not a perfect science because every child is different. My goodness.

Word limit-here is rest of my comment-My seven month old is rolling over both front and back, he is holding up his own head, but walking-No, he isn't walking. What is the massive rush to get our babies to advance? Bragging rights for us parents? No thanks, my son will meet these milestones at his own pace and I'm completely fine with that. :)

I didn't take the quiz yet-but I browsed through the comments-I cannot believe how people are actually saying things like "my 3 month old is already holding her head up" and "my nine month old is walking"! I know we all think our children are geniouses, and the most amazing babies and I know all children advance and meet these milestones/accomplishments at their own pace, but come on now-really?

I agree this is a waste of time. My daughter was standing by six monthes and is now 10 months and has been walking and climbing stairs since she was 9 months old. She can say a wide range of words .

it said my daughter wouldnt smile til may 2011 and shes been smiling since march 2011... boooo this is inaccurate and bogus dont waste ur time

This thing says my daughter will walk in october 2011 but she will be a year old june 2011

This is so far off it is asinine!! My son is 7 months old today and he just pulled him self to a stand yesterday!! This is a waste of time and space. Remove it from the site so other mom's don't waste their time!!

This was terribly off, or my son is very smart. He was walking at 9 months and his first word was around 8 months it was "hotdog" from watching Micky Mouse so much! However seeing how old I am going to be when he starts driving made me laugh!

yeah the quiz is way off ,they said my baby was suppose it start sitting up at 6 mo an she start sitting up at5months, now shes crawling an there way off on that to and she pulling herself up now an trying to stand which is great for 8 months.they also said that she suppose to walk in oct 2011 but that puts her at 16 months old and all my kids start walking before that. advise to moms out there dont take take the quiz it just might upset you it did me.

smh.. it said 16mos walking for my youngest, & she started walking independently @8mos [just 1 week ago !] :D ... so this is incredibly inaccurate x) i mean i knew it would be OFCOURSE, but dang !

People need to chill.!! this "quiz" is just an estimate, its not accurate. Its just for fun to give you an idea.... Everyone's baby/child is different & develop differently at different rates...

THIS IS RETARDED SO FAR my daughter has been smiling and laughing at me when i do something funny for two weeks now its the first week of dec2010 the quizsays she wont do that till january 2011 its going off of age whichis STUPID!=)

Mine said he wouldn't sit up untill november and it is now novemeber and he started sitting up in July!

Yeah I have to say the quiz was all wrong for my baby girl. She is doing everything early. She was holding her head up at 2 weeks, smlying befor 2 months, She is 9 months and can say 10 words and she can take 4 stepts befor she falls. She plays hide & seek. She is going tough terrable 2's at 9 months!!

Interesting quiz, not really accurate. My daugther just turned 3 months, and she started smiling at 2 months and now is trying to laugh and sit up on her own. She also does the baby talk...cute gurgles right now.

I have to agree. My little girl just turned three months and is trying to sit up and is starting to try to talk. She started smiling at us at 1 1/2 months. A fun quiz, but not really all that accurate.

wow i get old really fast... /this quiz was funny.. and i enjoyed looking at what will be, but was not correct my lil girl is 9 mos and has been talking for a whille. ALOT.... and she Smiled at Daddy the moment she saw him at just a few min old.

hmmm it was fun but waaayyyy off! said my babygirl say her first word in dec. she already said her first word in feb..said she will sit up in june...she sat up a few weeks ago and its may....an soo on..its good to do to pass the time!

It was fun but totally off. It said my daughter would start walking 2 months ago, but she's been walking for 9 months now. If it would true I would be a much less tired mommy.

This was totally off for baby milestones!! But, it was fun for the later things like hs graduation, voting and college graduation!

The quiz is only for fun! But don't take it if you're 40!!! The calculations will remind you of how old you will be by the time your baby reaches his first milestones :(

This is a scary quiz...ugh I hate that my husband and I get older so quick!

This was completly off my it told me my son would be walking May 2010 and he started walking like November of 2009 dont take this test seriouly

i agree with all the people that said "it's just a fun quiz". don't take it so serious or as an insult to your child or yourself. this is just an average. some kids develop later. i'm sure many of us didn't even write down when these events happened. plus many times gas is mistaken for smiling at an early age. plus first steps are different then fully walking.

I agree with breezeed. Don't take this as complete fact. Besides, every child accomplishes their milestones at different times anyway. I just had fun realizing how OLD I'm going to be one day. OMG!!!!! =)

Hey everybody have you ever heard of fun that is all this quiz is about. You can't take it seriously if you took every thing you read seriously then the books are raising your children and not you.

This qiuz said my son would not smile until 6 months, said he would sit up at 8 and would not walk until 15 months, and he would not say his first word until he was 18 months. He has done all of that way before he was predeted. He is only 9 months now. I think they just make up stuff.

This quiz said that my baby would start walking when she is around 16 months, but she started walking when she was 9 months.

I agree that this test is wrong .... It says my baby wouldnt start smiling til he was 4 months old and he started at 1.5 - 2 mos... also it said he wouldnt sit up on his own until he was 8 months but already does at 7 months...

sorry my baby started walking at 8 months and at 12 months she is running lol she is not waiting to 16 months as predicted

haha he started sitting up at 4.5 months the thing said he wouldn't until hes 8 months old and he said his first word at 7 months this one said he wouldn't until hes 14 months old..and i am positive he will walk before 16 months, he can already stand alone at 10

My baby started smiling big smiles at 2 months old. She's already holding her head up and trying her hardest to sit up on her own. She frequently pulls herself up when sitting in something, but because her head is still a little too heavy for her, she slumps to the side. Her daddy is three years younger than me, and this test wouldn't let me insert his birthday correctly. Why would she be saying her first word at 2 years and 2 months??? This test makes my daughter into a moron.

My daughter smiled the day she was born,she sat up by 5 months, walked on her own at 10 months old..so this test is wrong!!

this so called quiz i agree is very inaccuarate..my daughter is 5 months and can stand with help, can sit up with no help, can say mama and she has been smiling since she was 2 months old.but like someone else said.all babies develop at their own rate and will do things when they are ready.i also agree that telling parents when something should or will happen will only make them worry that if their child hasnt reached that milestone than there is something wrong with him oe her...

This quiz is so wrong my son started smiling at 2 and a half months so 2 months before it said he would. Also his is already starting to sit up not by his self but way more advance than this thing says lol how funny.

Yep my daughter just started walking and she is almost 12 months. im so proud of her

My little girl smiled at 3 months i believe, rolled over at 4 months, is sitting up almost on her own now at 5 months and is strolling all around in her walker as well. This quiz is not accurate at all, but all little boys and girls develop at their own rate, something that says when your child should be doing something just makes parents worry that their is something wrong. every child is beautiful and will do things when THEY want to. :)

My son rolled over at four months sat up at 6 months crawled at 6 months pulled up at 7 months and walked at 10 months... but he is 15 months and can only say a few words.. I'm worried he won't ever talk

My son Jayden is rolling over, saying dada, and scooting at 6 months. He smiles all the time even before 3 months. He's such a happy baby I love him with all my heart <3

UH-NO lol my son smiled by the time he was 3 mos. he is already trying to say mama and he is 6 mos. and he is already sitting(he holds himself up though but still) i think this quiz is very inacurate ....moms just go by what ur pediatricians tell u , every child is unique and they learn at theyre own pace with ur help

Okay you guys....every child is very different. Each child meets milestones at different times. My daughter is 6 months and still isn't sitting up unassisted. Her ped doesn't seemed too worried about it. She's almost there though!

yea, that was "almost" believable... it says my daughter will walk when she's 16 mos...umm, she's 9 mos now, and trying to stand on her own...the sitting part was actually right, though!!

16 months before my daughter starts walking? Who made this up? Which child behaviorist is mad at the world?? By the way, she started full-fledge independently walking the week she turned 10 months.
