Knox is Pitt's grandfather's middle name and Marchline is the middle name of Jolie's mother. Leon is French in origin and also the name of Jolie's great-great grandfather.

The model and Ugly Betty actress gave birth to twin daughters on December 28, 2008. Charlie Tamara Tulip is named after husband Jerry O'Connell's brother, and the couple named her sister Dolly Rebecca Rose after country singer Dolly Parton.
