Due date: Alanis and her husband welcomed a baby boy, Ever Imre Morisette-Treadway, on December 25.

Best known for: Her successful pop-rock career, including the classic 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, which is still the best-selling female debut album in the U.S.

Baby's daddy: Mario "MC Souleye" Treadway, a rapper who she wed in a secret May 22, 2010 ceremony.

Memorable maternity moment: Alanis' baby came as a (happy!) surprise - "I had just sort of said in passing [to my doctor] that I was a little late... and he said, 'Let's take a quick look,' " Alanis told Chelsea Handler on E!'S Chelsea Lately. The rest? History.
