Due date: Beyonc? and husband Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl, Blue Ivy, on January 7, 2012. Two days after the birth, Jay-Z released "Glory," a song about his infant daughter. In the song, Jay-Z raps "Baby, I'll paint the sky blue/ My greatest creation was you" and Blue can be heard crying in the background.

Best known for: Beyonc? is one of the most successful female performers in history. She has won a total of 16 Grammy Awards, 3 with the girl group Destiny's Child and 13 for her solo career. In addition to being a successful singer, Beyonc? is also an actress, receiving 2 Golden Globe nominations for her performance in the 2006 film, Dreamgirls.

Baby's daddy: Rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z. The duo married in 2008 and they are considered one of the most powerful couples in the entertainment industry. This will be the first child for each of them.

Memorable maternity moment: Beyonc? announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Before her performance of "Love on Top," Beyonc? told the crowd, "I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me." At the end of the song, she dropped her microphone, unbuttoned her blazer, and rubbed her bump.

Due date: Garner and husband Ben Affleck welcomed their third child and first son on February 27, 2012. Affleck posted on Facebook, "We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck."

Best known for: Jennifer Garner became a household name after playing a spy in the hit television show Alias. The role won her a Golden Globe in 2001. She also starred in movies such as Daredevil, 13 Going on 30, and Juno.

Baby's daddy: Actor, writer, and director Ben Affleck. Garner and Affleck wed in 2005 and have two daughters together, Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2.

Memorable maternity moment: When talking about balancing work and motherhood after the birth of her second child, Garner told People magazine, "[I] feel like half my brain is somewhere else all the time, but when the camera's rolling, I pull it together and focus for two minutes."

Due date: Duff and husband Mike Comrie welcomed a baby boy on March 20, 2012. The new mom tweeted, "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy."

Best known for: Duff, now 23, first became famous at age 13 for her role as Lizzie in the Disney Channel's popular television show Lizzie McGuire. Since then, she's gone on to have a successful music career, releasing four albums, and has continued acting on television and in movies such as A Cinderella Story and Cheaper by the Dozen. Memorable maternity moment: Although there were rumors Duff was pregnant in January 2011, this will be the first child for the couple. Due date: After numerous false labor reports, Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby girl on May 1, 2012. Simpson and fianc? Eric Johnson named their daughter Maxwell Drew.

Best known for: Since first breaking into the pop music scene in the late 1990s, Simpson has achieved seven Billboard Top 40 hits. Nowadays, she is most well known for her very public divorce from singer and former reality show costar, Nick Lachey, her successful clothing line, and her fluctuating weight.

Due date: Mindy McCready gave birth to a baby boy, Zayne, on April 9, 2012. When she announced her pregnancy last fall, McCready said she was expecting twins. McCready's rep provided clarification to E! News: "At the time of the initial announcement surrounding Mindy's pregnancy, in consideration of her size, Mindy was certain she was carrying twins; a misinterpreted sonogram seemed to support her feelings and excitement."

Best known for: Selling over three million country music albums since she began her career in 1996; however, in recent years, McCready has become more known for her personal problems than her music. She appeared on the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for addictions to the prescription drug OxyContin and alcohol.

Baby's daddy: McCready's boyfriend of roughly two years, music producer David Wilson.

Memorable maternity moment: McCready's announcement that she is expecting twins came on the same day that police filed a missing person report for the singer and her 5-year-old son, Zander. McCready, who does not have legal custody of her son, took him from her father's home and has admitted on her Facebook page that he is with her.

Due date: It's another girl for Alyson Hannigan! The actress gave birth to daughter Keeva Jane on May 23, 2012.

Best known for: Hannigan's career took off after she snagged the role of Willow on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She went on to play a band geek in the three American Pie movies and can now be seen on the popular TV show How I Met Your Mother.

Baby's daddy: Husband and actor Alexis Denisof. The couple wed on October 11, 2003 and they have a 2-year-old daughter, Satyana Marie.

Ambr?sio made the announcement on her Facebook page in her native Portuguese and English: "Well, the day just arrived and we couldn't be more happy!!! Noah Phoenix was born yesterday afternoon and already stole our hearts."

Best known for: Barrymore's breakout role was in Steven Spielberg's 1982 film E.T. when she was just 7 years old. She went on to star in The Wedding Singer, Charlie's Angels, and the award-winning TV movie Grey Gardens. Best known for: Being the highest-paid model in the world. According to Forbes, Bundchen earned $45 million from May 2011 to May 2012. She became a household name because of her career as a Victoria's Secret Angel from 2000 until 2007, which also coincided with the 5 years that she dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Baby's daddy: New England Patriots quarterback and husband, Tom Brady. Brady and Bundchen were married on February 26, 2009 and have a 2-year-old son, Benjamin, together. Brady has a 4-year-old son, Jack, with ex-girlfriend and actress Bridget Moynahan.

Memorable maternity moment: After the birth of son Benjamin, the model came under fire for comments she made to Harper's Bazaar UK about breastfeeding: "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months." Bundchen was accused of having a know-it-all attitude and being insensitive towards mothers who are unable to breastfeed. Best known for: She is one of three members of the popular female country band, the Dixie Chicks. Together, the group has won 13 Grammy awards. Robison later started country duo Court Yard Hounds with sister and fellow Dixie Chicks member Martie Maguire.

Due date: Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed a son on October 19, 2012. They have not yet announced his name.

Best known for: The English singer's debut album 19 received many accolades, including Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2009. Her follow-up album, 21, was even more successful and earned her six Grammy Awards in 2012. Some of her most popular hits include "Rolling In The Deep" and "Someone Like You."

Danes won a Golden Globe Award in 1994 for the role. She now stars in the popular Showtime TV series Homeland, for which she's won two Golden Globe awards.
