Children will love sending (or receiving) a thank-you note on a paper ball! Partially unfold a Japanese paper ball (available at many toy stores) and carefully rubber stamp a thank-you message. Let dry, carefully refold, slip into a business-size envelope, and mail! The balls can be "revived" by the receiver by simply blowing gently into the hole at the top. Your thanks will soon be batted all over the house!
What You Need:
Japanese paper balls
Alphabet rubber stamps
Stamp pad
Business-size envelope

Making thank you cards fits right into an assignment that I do about being mindful & being kind. Tell someone how much we appreciate them for the task that they do for us (washing clothes, driving us, helping us with homework). The students don't let on this is an assignment. We ALWAYS laugh when sharing. One Mom felt her son's forehead, asked if he had a fever; another was taken out to McDonald's, & others get kisses & hugs which made EVERYONE feel special.
