Easter Egg Decorating Ideas

String WrapWhat You'll Need:

  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Egg dye or food coloring
  • String
  • Scissors

Make it:

  1. Dye eggs a light color; let dry.
  2. Wrap and tie string around each egg and dye again in a darker shade.
  3. Remove string after both the eggs and the string are completely dry.

Seriously! There is NO WAY this would ever get accomplished with a 2 1/2 yr old that has NEVER dyed eggs. This would take a week to plan and accomplish. I thought this magazine was suppose to be geared towards parents with small children? Let's get realistic!
