Allergic conjunctivitis

Cause: Inflammation due to allergies.

Contagious? No

Look for: Red, itching, watery eyes. No discharge.

Treatment: Use cool compresses to soothe the eyes and antiallergenic eyedrops, available over the counter or by prescription. Avoid the allergen.
