Book the most direct flight (nonstop if possible), and travel first thing in the morning to avoid delays. Also, get to the airport at least an hour and a half early so you have enough time to go through security.

2/2/2012 03:14:50 PM Report AbuseThese travel tips are very useful/helpful! Hoping they will work for my almost 9 month old on our flight to Boston for Thanksgiving. Oh and lol to knfuller's comment, but jamiemrls84 is right....the sucking (bottle, boob, binky) will help relieve pressure in their ears. Wish me luck!
11/21/2011 01:25:25 PM Report Abuseso what was your advice? Putting a boobie in his mouth? I am guessing this works for adult men too.
5/17/2010 10:35:03 AM Report AbuseWhen my son was 10 months we flew to Mexico City and he did wonderful. I told him we were going up, up, up. I was still nursing him and he had no problem eating during the take offs and landings. Some of the best advice I can give for traveling mothers. Everyone on the plane was impressed, and relieved, no one wants to sit by a crying baby for hours on end.
