Podcasting is subscribing to an audio program that you can download and listen to on your computer at any time. If you have a portable mp3 player, such as as iPod, you can also transfer the audio file and listen on your portable device.

Once you become a subscriber, every time a new episode is released, your computer will automatically download it (as long as you're connected to the Internet with the proper podcasting software).

How Does it Work?

To listen to podcasts, you'll need to have podcasting software installed on your computer. Apple's iTunes is the most popular choice. Click on the link below to subscribe to the Parents podcast on iTunes.

If you'd rather use another program to play the podcast, follow these steps.

  1. Place your mouse over the podcast link (on the podcast story page).
  2. Copy the link. PC users: right click and select "Copy Shortcut"; Mac users: click and hold your mouse over the link and select "Copy"
  3. Paste the link in the subscriptions field of your podcasting software (may vary on your software choice).
