Making the Most of Toddler Story Time

Follow Your Child's Lead

Don't make story time a battle of wills over what book to read and how long to read it. Let your child choose the book, even if it's the same one five days in a row. Let him stop you to ask questions or comment. Let him stop listening when he's tired. Remember your goal is to have a good time with reading.
