How to make a homemade, iron-on surf-print tee shirt.
Give your child's wardrobe a splash of summer fun with a surfboard t-shirt. You'll need our surfboard template from familyfunmag.com, a pencil, scraps of fabric, paperback fusible web, sharp scissors, a pre-washed t-shirt, and an iron. Using the template, trace 5 surfboard shapes onto the paper side of the fusible web. Cut around the shapes leaving about a quarter-inch border. Place the fusible web surfboard paper-side up on to the back of a piece of fabric. Iron it on. Repeat for the other 4 pieces, cut out the shapes along the pencil line. Place your shirt on the ironing board. Peel the paper backing from the surfboards and position them on the shirt. Iron them in place. The surf's always up with this radical tee.
