9/20/2011 10:21:53 AM Report AbuseI agree with funferall. Using food for crafts is a "no-no" in my book. I would hope that this site would consider taking the same stance and not suggest using any food for a craft. Mary
8/24/2011 06:25:21 AM Report AbuseAs an early childhood educator, alot of talk goes on about using food for crafts, as so many families struggle to get by to put food on the table. In alot of daycare centres, they have eliminated use of foods for crafts like this as a way not to offend any families that could have made a meal out of what was just taken for granted. However. if food cannot be served for consumption, then by all means make use of it another way.
