Best Bookmarks

These adorable animals make reading fun! You'll need felt, scissors, a pencil, a paintbrush, fabric stiffener (we used Stiffy Fabric Stiffener by Plaid Enterprises), and some craft glue.

A) Using our templates*, trace animal shapes onto felt and cut out. Brush fabric stiffener on pieces until saturated, then lay flat to dry. You may need to repeat if felt isn't stiff to the touch.

B) Using felt in other colors, cut out details like spots, stripes, and eyes. Affix with craft glue, then watch your reader get hooked on books.
