Egg Carton Sea Creatures Craft: How-To Video
Egg Carton Sea Creatures

What You'll Need:
Cardboard Egg Carton, Acrylic Paints, Paint Brushes, Googly Eyes, Glue, Glitter Glue Pen, Scissors, Paper Clips, Paper Scraps, Ribbon, Tissue Paper Strips
Make It:
- Fully cover the bottom of a cardboard egg carton with different colors of paint. Let dry.
- Help your child cut the egg cups from the carton and glue on small googly eyes.
- Clam: This clam comes to life with its glitter stripes. Create the body by attaching 2 cups together with tape on the inside.
Crab: Paper-clip pincers make this the cutest crab on the shore.
Octopus: 6-inch strands of colorful ribbon work perfectly as eight slinky octopus arms.
Jellyfish: Similar to an Octopus, substitute ribbon for tissue paper strips.
Fish: Attach two one-inch paper triangles to the opposite edges of a cup and then glue a second cup. Add two paper trapezoids as the back fin.
Starfish: Cut five slits evenly around a yellow painted eggcup. Gently fold the sections outward, trim into five points.
