Celeb Q&A: Jodie Foster
« Previous | 1 of 7 | Next »
The two-time Academy Award-winning actress and mom of two boys (ages 9 and 6) loosens up for a fun role in the new family adventure flick Nim's Island. (And it's about time -- we're still trying to erase the memory of the uber-creepy The Silence of the Lambs.)
Q. Why Nim's Island?
A. I really wanted to make a movie my kids could see. They came to the set often and played with the sea lion. On other films, I usually had a gun in my pocket or there were lots of bad words being said, so they didn't get a chance to hang out with me. Also, I totally fell in love with the script -- I wish that when I was young there'd been a girls' adventure movie.
